Louisiana Angus Association Bull Sale 1/25/25

Wrapped up the Louisiana Angus Association Sale on 1/25/23 where I had the honor of serving as both Auctioneer and Sale Manager. Always a privilege to work with solid cattle folks and committed breeders.

We saw some quality bulls find new homes:

Lot 11 – Top seller at $7,500, a sharp son of A Wilks 872
Lot 10 – Brought $7,200, sired by 1860 Absolute Consensus F012
Lot 33 – High-selling yearling bull at $6,200, a Boyd Justification son
Lot 36 & Lot 30 – Both hit $6,000, sired by LD Capitalist 316 and Poss Rawhide

Appreciate all the buyers, bidders, consignors, and crew who helped pull it together. Always thankful to call the bids and help move the breed forward. On to the next one!

Hunts H+ Brangus Bull & Female Sale 2/22/25

Had a great day on the block at the Hunt’s H+ Brangus Bull & Female Sale on 2/22/25! Always a pleasure to work with the Hunt family quality Brangus cattle and even better people.

This year’s sale brought strong interest and solid bids across the board. Proud to call the sale and help connect quality genetics with serious cattlemen.

Top-selling bull: Lot 5, a standout son of TCB Catawba Warrior R532, brought $9,500 and deserved every bit of it!

Grateful to be trusted with the mic for events like this—where good cattle, good people, and good business come together.

Meadows Creek Farm 10th Annual Black & White Spring Forward Bull Sale 3/1/25

Always a pleasure to step behind the mic at the Meadows Creek Farm 10th Annual Black & White Spring Forward Bull Sale on 3/1/25. A big thank you to Richard Meadows and the entire Meadows family for hosting another well-run, high-quality event.

I had the honor of sharing the block with Will Meadows, who brought the cattle to life with his knowledge and passion—great teamwork and even better cattle!

Top-Selling Bulls: Charolais – Lots 1 & 17 brought $7,400, with the group averaging $5,904  SimAngus – Lot 28 led the way at $9,600, averaging an impressive $7,233  Angus – Lot 31 topped the group at $6,800, with an average of $5,667

It was a strong day in the seats and in the ring. Proud to play a part in connecting quality genetics with progressive cattlemen. Looking forward to what’s next at Meadows Creek!

Cattlemen’s Elite Sale Beefmaster Bull & Females 3/8/25

Called the bids at the Cattlemen’s Elite Beefmaster Bull & Female Sale on 3/8/25—always grateful for the opportunity to be on the block, working with good cattle folks.

Special thanks to Ty Agee, sale manager, for his hard work behind the scenes, and to the consignors for bringing quality stock to town and supporting the Beefmaster breed.

 Top-Selling Bull: Lot 5, consigned by J&T Farm (BBU No: C1189303), brought $9,200 and led the way for the day.
